Safety at Franklin Riding Academy
Safety is our utmost concern. We ask that you follow all posted barn rules and if you have questions do not hesitate to ask!

English Riding Lessons
We teach beginners, intermediate, advanced, children, teens, college age, and adults! Our only age requirement is that your child is at least 6 years old.

We work hard to produce excellent and knowledgeable riders and take pride in the care we give our horses. Many of our riders will go on to showing and even owning their own horse! Any goal you have we can reach it with hard work and dedication.

Good news for parents... saddle seat riding is actually very safe. We do NO jumping and only flat work in the saddle seat discipline. And any riders under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet.

Lessons for Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Riders
All lessons are 30 minutes of instructed riding time. As a beginner you will start with private lessons and as you advance may be able to ride with other riders at times. Advanced riders are welcome to ride with other advanced riders upon request and scheduling availability.

One lesson $50
Package of Four $180
Package of Eight $320
*First lesson is only $40!*

We teach lessons Monday-Friday in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings and on Saturdays until noon. We are closed on Sundays. Students should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled lesson in order to be prepared to start on time.

Cancellation Policy
We require a 24 hour cancellation or there will be a $15 charge for a late cancellation. In the case that a rider does not show for their up for their lesson you will be charged the full amount for the lesson.

What to Wear
Riders are required to wear long pants without extra bling on the back pockets (ruins the saddle) and a hard soled shoe with a heel or non-slip shoe. After a few lessons a helmet, riding boots, and pants should be purchased and worn to all lessons.

In Case of Inclement Weather
We are full functioning in all weather conditions from hot to cold, raining to snowing. But in the case that the weather is too dangerous for you or our staff to commute in we will let you know in advance that a lesson will need to be rescheduled for another day.
